🌿 There Is No Tomorrow
(A Spiritual Reflection)
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna reminds Arjuna:
"You have a right to your actions, but not to the fruits thereof."
We live entangled in outcomes—
waiting for peace to arrive once success is achieved,
postponing joy until we’ve healed,
delaying truth until it’s convenient.
But life, in its truest form, exists only in the present karmic moment.
There is no tomorrow.
Not in the way we romanticise it.
Tomorrow is a shadow of the now—
a concept created by the mind to comfort our indecision.
But the soul knows better.
It knows that breath, awareness, and action
exist only here.
We postpone love because we fear rejection.
We defer forgiveness, waiting for perfect closure.
We delay purpose, waiting for a clearer sign.
But these are illusions.
The universe never guaranteed us another sunrise.
🌸 Today is sacred.
This moment is your dharma in motion.
This silence, this ache, this joy—
they are not preludes to a better chapter.
They are the chapter.
And perhaps that’s what awakening truly means:
Not to chase tomorrow,
but to live so fully today
that tomorrow becomes unnecessary.
🪷 Mindful Practice
-
Sit in stillness for 3 minutes.
-
Ask yourself: “If this was my last evening, what truth would I speak?”
-
Then… speak it, write it, or live it today.
